GFH Stud's 'Wind Stern' awarded State Premium

Our mare by the stallion Royal Hit out of a Licotus dam made the short trip to Vechta at the beginning of June 2011 for her mare test. She had passed the initial inspections so now it was on to the detailed assessment which includes free jumping, being ridden by our trainer Hans Bremke and then being ridden by a test rider. The main arena at Vechta is daunting for any young horse but she coped very well. We were absolutely over the moon when the inpsection commitee annouced she was to be awarded State Premium. We were the only British owners to receive honour at Vechta this year. It had always been one of our ambitions to acheive this with one of our horses. We now want to go one better and achieve it with a mare we have bred. We bought Wind Stern as a foal from Bernd Huslage so we cannot claim any credit for her breeding. Here are some video clips of her during her mare test
