Bundeschampionat 2011
We dashed down the autobahn to Warendorf once the times were released to watch Underberg take his place in the line up of the top German young horses of 2011. We were increadibly proud to have made it this far with a horse we had bought as a two year old with every intention of castrating him and Jonathan using him as a hunter! It has been an amazing journey with Underberg and it was great that his breeder, Christoph Herdering could be with us to watch. His first round went so well until the last fence which he tapped and had down - its always an extra disapointent to have the last one! He missed the cut by 0.5 of a point so we were gutted but also so pleased he was the only horse in the 6 yr olds that was owned by GB. He certainly didnt let us down and he will have a well deserved break now.
