We specialise in both breeding and sourcing the very best Oldenburg youngstock. Our strategy relies on a very rigorous selection criterion for both the mare and the stallion, this includes the highest standards in bloodlines and confirmation but we have also made a conscious effort to emphasise the performance record.

A stallion must have either proved his willingness and ability on the most difficult courses or, according to age is being prepared for such tasks. We make it a priority each year to view as many of the Oldenburg stallions ‘in the flesh’ as this proves to be much better that relying on a DVD. We also ensure that we know which breeding lines are producing the most valuable stock at the sales. Our mares are proven or graded themselves and/or have produced stock that fits these criteria.

As well as breeding our own stock we also buy in foals each year often with specific breeding lines requested by our clients. We have been very fortunate to have developed relationships with some of the best breeders in the Oldenburg area from whom we buy direct. We also buy at the Elite Foal sale in Vechta.
